Returns are only eligible for purchases through our direct website, MailegUSA.com. The items must be unused and in their original condition, accompanied with the original Maileg product packaging and tags. So basically, in the state you received them.

This is where things can get a little tricky. Canadian orders are not eligible for complimentary return shipping, due to Customs restrictions.
All packages being returned to Maileg USA from outside the United States must be marked on the OUTSIDE of the box as "Return of Merchandise" to avoid additional taxes, customs/duties, and brokerage fees being assessed. Any paperwork filled out for the return shipment should also indicate that the "Return of Merchandise" was previously purchased from Maileg USA along with the date of the original purchase. This will eliminate any confusion that it is a return for which customs/duties/taxes have already been paid for.
Canadian returns not identified as "Returned Merchandise" will be subject to a chargeback for any taxes, customs/duties, and brokerage fees passed on to Maileg USA.

**Our products are made using natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, wood, and metal. We do not use plastic except for the polyester filling for our stuffed toys. Each toy is hand-made or at least hand finished. This means not every toy will be exactly the same. We believe it gives our toys character and charm that plastic toys made out of a mold, just cannot match. Sometimes an ear may be slightly lower than the other or one leg may skew a little left. These are not defects in our mind, but make each toy unique just like the children that are playing with them. With that being said, if a toy has a legitimate defect we are more than happy to replace it for you, as long as we have more available. Each toy is unique and will become collectible!
