Winter Blues Prevention with the Teddy Family

Not for long! The Teddy Family knows all the tricks to make your winter less un-bear-able.

Nothing warms your heart like time spent with your favorite people. The Teddy's make sure to carve time out of their day for family time or visiting friends. They love to play board games in the family room or hide and seek around the dollhouse. Mum and Dad like to take the kids out for afternoon outings like the aquarium or library. There are of plenty memories to be made and laughs to be had during any time of the year.

Winter is all about hygge. The Teddy Family loves to get cozy and defrost from the winter weather together. Teddy Dad and Junior work together to start the fire while mum cuddles with baby on the comfortable couch. Since they spend more time inside during the winter, creating a cozy atmosphere is key. Mum and Dad feel instant relaxation from the soft crackle of the fireplace. Teddy Junior is more high energy, so they let him roast marshmallows by the fire while they hang out.

A home-cooked meal makes everything better. Just like you, the Teddy's have a favorite comfort meal: Vegetable Stew! Their stew is full of hearty goodness like carrots, tomatoes, leeks, and a splash of lemon juice. Dessert is also a must to survive the winter. The family finishes their feast with warm peppermint tea and treats. 

Winter is an ideal time to branch out and learn new recipes. Teddy Dad has been working hard to perfect his sourdough bread and Junior strives to brew the best cup of coffee. 

Self-care is crucial during the winter months. There are many forms of self-care, but one of the Teddy family's favorites is a warm bubble bath. Taking a soak is not only a great way to relax, but also gives you some alone time when you have a full house. 

The Teddies try to do one self-care activity a day because it makes them feel good and accomplished. Some easy activities are reading, stretching or exercising, or organizing your room. 

Having an outfit you feel excited to wear makes the biggest difference. The Teddy's can stay stylish and warm with their adorable selection of winter wear. Mum, Dad and Junior each have colorful rainwear that is sure to brighten up any gloomy day. They like to splash in puddles and catch rain drops in their mouths. Baby also loves a rainy day because he stays nice and dry in the safety of his Micro Pram. 

Dad and Junior also have warm coats to wear when they're on firewood duty. There is a particular patch in the forest that has the best trees for firewood. Dad has been teaching Junior how to cut down a tree into perfect firewood pieces. The pair will always plant seeds for new trees to grow after they chop one down.
