Maileg size guide
Maileg friends come in all shapes and sizes. At first glance, it may seem tricky, but it’s the small details that create the Maileg magic. Every little friend is thoughtfully designed in a specific size – perhaps to fit perfectly in tiny hands or to make their home inside one of our dollhouses. Let us guide you through the different sizes so you can find the perfect match for your Maileg world.
Each Maileg friend is carefully handmade – from the tip of their ears to the stitching of their tiny toes. Because of this, you may notice small variations in height and shape. But don’t worry – they all fit the clothes and furniture designed for their size. That’s part of the charm.
Mouse Family
The Maileg mice are one big, happy family, with sizes defined by their family roles. The baby mice are the tiniest, followed by the Little brothers and sisters, then the Big brothers and sisters, and finally the parents and grandparents, who share the same size. All of these mice fit perfectly into the Mouse Hole Farmhouse and our Mouse-sized furniture. Baby mice also fit beautifully with our My-sized furniture, but they’re just as cosy in mouse-sized pieces made for their family.
We also have a few larger mice in Medium and Maxi sizes. These are too big for the Mouse Hole Farmhouse, but they make the perfect cuddle companions for children of all ages.
Bunnies and Rabbits
The bunnies and rabbits live together in one big colony. You can tell them apart by their ears – bunnies have ears that hang down, while rabbits have ears that stand up. Unlike the mice, their sizes are not based on family relations but are simply numbered.
Bunnies and rabbits in My, Micro, Size 1, and Size 2 fit perfectly into the House of Miniature. Size 1 and 2 are designed to pair with Miniature-sized furniture, while My and Micro have their own specially sized furniture.
Bunnies and rabbits in Size 3, 4, and 5 are wonderful companions for both playtime and cuddles.
Teddy Family
The Teddy Family includes Teddy Mum, Dad, Junior, and Baby. Each of the Teddies has a bed designed especially for them. They are a perfect fit for the House of Miniature, with Mum, Dad and Junior pairing well with Miniature-sized furniture, while Teddy Baby is best suited for Micro-sized furniture.
Soft Toys
Our Soft Toys are perfect for both playtime and cuddles. Some are small and sweet, while others are made for big, warm hugs. Which one will be your new favourite?

Dollhouses and Furniture – What Fits Where?
Our Maileg dollhouses create the perfect backdrop for imaginative play, but knowing what fits where can be helpful when setting up your miniature world.
House of Miniature
This grand house is designed for Miniature-sized furniture. It’s a lovely home for rabbits and bunnies in sizes My, Micro, 1 and 2, as well as the Teddy family (Mum, Dad and Junior).
Mousehole Farmhouse and Castle
These charming settings are perfect for Mouse-sized and My-sized furniture. The Mouse family – from baby to grandparents – feel right at home here, whether they’re baking in the kitchen or napping by the fire.
Mini furniture
Despite the name, these do not fit inside any of the dollhouses. These pieces are perfect for soft toys, larger mice or bunnies and rabbits in sizes 3 and above. Think of them as statement pieces – a cosy couch for a big rabbit, or a reading chair for a sleepy teddy.
Clothing for Your Maileg Friends
Most Maileg friends love to dress up – and luckily, there’s a wardrobe for every personality. From cosy pyjamas to party-ready outfits, many sizes come with matching clothing collections that can be purchased separately.
Not sure which size fits? Don’t worry – the correct size is always indicated on the packaging. Whether you’re dressing a little mouse or a tall rabbit, you’ll find just the right look to match their style and story.
